You can get exiftool with brew install exiftool, and then you can use this command to strip all the metadata from a photo: Equivalent to, but more efficient than calling "WriteInfo" when only the FileModifyDate or FileCreateDate tag has been set. Utilities I have thousands of photos in a perfect, organized state with correct EXIF metadata. However, this was not the case couple of years ago. PostScript Font ASCII/Binary Delete existing tag from a file if it has the specified value. For list-type tags this deletes a specified item from the list. For non-list tags this may be used to conditionally replace a tag by providing a new value in a separate call to SetNewValue (see examples above). For structured tags, the entire structure is deleted/replaced only if all of the specified fields match the existing structure. Option values are 0 or 1. Default is 0. Generate a GPX track log from all images in directory dir. This example uses the file included in the full ExifTool distribution package and assumes that the images in dir have all been previously geotagged. Remove EXIF, IPTC tags, and clean up all metadata Move "" and the "lib" directory from the exiftool distribution to "C:\WINDOWS" (or any other directory in your PATH). If followed by a colon (ie. -progress:), the console window title is set according to the specified TITLE string. If no TITLE is given, a default TITLE string of "ExifTool %p%%" is assumed.
